Solstice Campout 2017
Come join us for the 2nd annual All-City Solstice Ride!
Taking place on the longest day of the year, the ride celebrates all that we love about summer in our fair state - cycling, swimming, cold drinks, and friends! We have a group camp reserved at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve campground that boasts plentiful space for tents, hammocks, and open air sleeping.
For 2017 we are partnering with our good friends at The Hub Bike Co-op who will be assisting with basic mechanical issues along the way. Other partners include Peace Coffee, Fulton Beer, Bunyan Velo. The event will be part of the global Swift.Industries Campout - make sure to follow along at Swift to see like minded people from around the world also enjoying a night under the stars!
***Please note : this is a self supported event - please pack and plan accordingly.*** Expect 50 miles at a casual / rambling pace with multiple stops along the way. The way home will be a smooth sailing 20 miles. Full route will be posted in the coming weeks.
Need packing advice or a bit more gear? Or want to have your bike checked over to make sure its up for the miles? Pop in to see our friends atThe Hub Bike Co-op and they will gladly set you up!
