Hey folks, just wanted to let you in on the news that available right now at your friendly local All-City dealer you can score that most righteous of steeds, the Pony Express for under (slightly) a grand. That's pretty dang rad if you ask us.

If you're not in the know, the Pony Express utilizes our best selling Space Horse frameset but instead of drop bars you get a riser and 1X10 gearing, which makes it perfect for running errands, commuting, and getting a little rad with. Plus it comes in a real fetching red paint job. 

It fits a 42c tire, and as you can tell from the photos we feel like the hottt setup on this thing is Surly's 41c Knards and a front porteur rack. Perfect for shredding alleys, dirt paths, carrying a pizza, and just generally getting you to where you need to go. We decided to build up the Space Horse in the flat bar fashion after seeing so many custom builds built in this style and trying it for ourselves. It's a really really fast, zippy, and practical build. 

Like it's Space Horse brethren you can run racks and fenders, geared or singlespeed. It's our most versatile frame and if you're looking to acquire your first "great" bike, this frame is a logical move since you can get into any type of riding with it. Road rides, touring, gravel, fire roads, etc. It's a terrific jumping off point into the whole world of cycling. Built in the Express trim, it's more suited to shorter trips, errands, and more aggressive riding, but that capability is always there in case you want to swap a few parts and hit the open road.
