Kevin Sparrow’s Stupor Bowl Photos
One of the best parts of our job is getting to work with all of our talented friends. Recently one of our favorite photographers and people, Kevin Sparrow, came up to Minneapolis from his home in Milwaukee to hang out and shoot this year's Stupor Bowl. As always his photos turned out absolutely amazing, and we're super stoked to share them with you.
For those not familiar, this was the 19th edition (2nd longest running in the world) of Minneapolis' Stupor Bowl, an alleycat race that takes place annually the day before that one football game. The race comes in two flavors - drunk and speed. The speed race is your typical "stamp the manifest" format while the drunk race adds an adult beverage at each stop. Somewhere around 300 folks came out to participate, including riders from all over the world. This is one of the largest races on the planet and the Minneapolis winter weather gives it a unique character.
There are so many good photos that this is going to be a long post, tuck in.
