Introducing the Wangaaa! Kit
Channeling early 90's skate and surf vibes, old school hippie tech, and a dash of Zubaz We've turned out what we feel is by far our most badass kit to date. Or at least as badass as stretchy bike clothes can be.
The story of this kit goes like this: Our lawyer, the Cross Wizard, and his wife are tie-dye professionals. They spend many of their weekends at craft sales and farmers markets slinging tie-dye apparel all over the state. Years ago we enlisted their help to create a pattern that we intended to use for a tie-dye kit. The kit never happened as originally envisioned, but Saisha scanned in one of the shirts they made for us, messed with the patterning a bit and created the Wangaaa! cap. We then added the Darker Wave socks last year which utilized the same pattern, and we deeply loved both of those pieces. So much so that when it came time to design this year's jersey and bibs the only thing that made sense was to finally complete the look.
In case you haven't been paying attention, we've radically bumped up our kit quality over the past few years and now utilize Pactimo's Ascent 2.0 Jersey and their amazing Ascent Vector Pro Bib shorts. The jersey is incredibly lightweight for breathability and comfort in warm temps, and the bibs feature an upgraded Cy-Tech chamois which has become our absolute favorite for long days in the saddle. Not only that, but we are super proud to offer them in both a ladies and mens cut and chamois'. These are the choice for Team All-City, and we think that you'll be thrilled with their performance and comfort.

And of course the bibs say Wangaaa! on the butt, because they just had to. We still get a lot of questions about what "Wangaaa!" means and it's a bit hard for us to explain as it's used as an expression of joy, energy, punctuation, etc, but it has a shifting meaning. Sort of like "dude" or "jawn" it can be used in an almost endless variety of ways. It was popularized by our friend Geo, and I'll attempt to create a phrase of usage using an approximation of his vernacular: "Yo daddy, I was boppin' down the street, cars to my left, my right, entered the intersection swerving, popped through a hole in traffic, made it out the other side. WANGAAA!"
