Introducing the All-City Community Support Program

If our brand mission of bringing beauty back to production bicycles is the heart of All-City, community is the beat. We share a passion for bicycles, the people who ride them, and the positive changes both can inspire in the world.

All-City's commitment to community is really brought to life through our four kickass sponsored riders, as well as a new program we couldn't have dreamed up without them: the All-City Community Support Program.

We believe that investing in the community is the single most important thing we can do to increase access to bicycles and welcome new riders of all kinds. Through the Community Support Program, selected organizations will receive a mix of cash support, as well as access to bikes, parts and accessories. For 2021, we’re partnering with three organizations who are showing up in their communities, day in and day out. You’ll hear more from these organizations throughout the year, but let’s introduce you first:

Cycles of Change, Oakland, CA

The mission of Cycles of Change is to improve the health and sustainability of East Oakland neighborhoods by increasing the use of bicycles as transportation. For over 20 years, Cycles of Change has worked to broaden access to biking in low-income communities of color through education programs and low cost or free resources, by connecting youth with the extraordinary living ecosystems of their local area, and by building a diverse community of visionary young leaders.

Ride for Black Lives, Los Angeles, CA

Ride for Black Lives was founded in 2020 by All-City Sponsored Rider Ron Holden. The Los Angeles-based organization aims to build a community within the cycling world to spread love, peace, and unity. Ride for Black Lives organizes weekly rides in LA where all feel welcomed, supported, and included, while cultivating awareness, business, and support for BIPOC businesses and communities.

Team Recess, Minneapolis, MN

Formerly Koochella Racing, Team Recess aims to promote Femme/Trans/Women (non-binary, two-spirit, and gender non-conforming inclusive) individuals in cycling through the development of a tightly knit team that champions inclusivity, advocacy, volunteerism, and support. In 2020, under its former name, Team Recess kicked off a community support raffle series to benefit Black FTW folks in the Twin Cities, with all funds raised going directly to Black FTW in the Twin Cities area. They plan to kick off the first 2021 raffle in April.
