Eric Koston’s Gorilla Monsoon

So stoked on this.

As anyone who grew up skating or watching skate vids would be. Eric Koston, the name amongst names. Considered by many to be the greatest street skater of the modern era and a person with a growing passion for riding bikes. 

Eric's been hanging out with the crew at Golden Saddle Cyclery as of late, and was looking for a comfy rig for scooting around town that could handle off-road trail duties as well. You can imagine how excited I was to see an email from him in my inbox. He's a freaking legend, and I'm really happy to report that he's also incredibly kind, humble, and super rad to work with. From what I can tell, just the nicest dude. 

And the build? Probablly the coolest "hybrid" we've ever seen. Decked out in tons of American made goodness and it manages to pull off the daring combo of silver components with black rims very nicely. Silver rims would have been a bit over the top, so that detail is key. Works perfectly with the large black cassette, black pedals, and black chainring.
