Bio: In 2013, on a weekend with my dad, I was reintroduced to trail riding, a part of my childhood I had all but forgotten. I fell in love all over again with the bike, the escape that riding gave me, the humbling experiences of challenging myself, and have been completely hooked ever since. Eventually, I found gravel riding through District Bicycles and the amazing community that surrounds this shop. I started out riding the Monday no-drop ride on a junky commuter that I cobbled into a single speed out of frugality, and it rapidly spiraled from there. Next thing I knew, I was signing up for the Land Run 100, Gravel Worlds, and eventually The Dirty Kanza 200. There’s something cathartic about these endurance events that will always keep me coming back for more.
If I can give a shout out I’d like to say: Thank you to my parents, friends, District Bicycles, and my love, Thomas, for always supporting and believing in me.
