NACCCs Richmond Second Day: Group Ride, Course Setup, Alleycat

IMG_3807

The first day ended up with my drunk ass sleeping on a terrible little mini couch with a slant, colloquially  (sp?) known as the "dog couch."  The second day found me waking up gasping for water to soothe my carpet mouth after a knock at the door.  Who was it?

Well none other than our homies Nico, Kevin Sparrow, and Mike from Chicago, Milwaukee, and Chicago respectively.

Stoked at the arrival of our bros we headed down to the group ride which was a tour of the city, and unbeknownst to us, a sneak peak at Sunday's open course.  This was followed by some course work on Saturday's closed course, some BBQ, and then an alleycat.

It was an exhausting and amazing day.

As for the alleycat, we did pretty darn well.  We followed a fast local female and she brought our group all in the top five, however we got an answer wrong and were relegated.  No biggie, it was still fun.
