Kato Cycles - Nagoya Japan
It's time to finally start sharing images from the trip to Japan that Saisha, Adam, and I took in late November / Early December. For all of us it was an amazing experience and one that will stay with us forever. The people were spectacular, our distributor Motocross Intl. took great care of us, and the shops we visited were just insane. Easily some of the best and certainly most ambitious that I've ever set foot in. These people do not mess around when it comes to the details and customization.
But before we get into the hip modern shops, let's start off our Japanese shop tour with some images from Kato Cycles in Nagoya. Downstairs is a normal modern perfomance oriented bike shop, but upstairs is the domain of the founder who has an absolutely mind blowing collection of vintage and NOS bikes and parts. Words won't do it justice, just check out the pics. Worth the trip to Japan all on its own for a serious vintage nerd.
The difficult thing was sifting through it all, and my own lack of knowledge as to what I was looking at. I'm sure I missed all kinds of gems.
Right? Total overload.
