Junkyard Cross Photos

IMG_1997

In the thrilling second installment of photos from last weekend's single speed cross race in Philly, here are some of my favorites from Junkyard Cross.

Having never been there before I was expecting more of a traditional cross race, but y'know in a junkyard. What I encountered instead was more of an all day derby / sideshow sort of deal. It was a holeshot race, if you got in front you were golden as passing was difficult to impossible in about 90% of the course and a slower rider in front of you meant you were totally boned. It was dangerous, outrageous, boozy, and an impossible amount of fun. Super stoked to have experienced it.
