Heading to Austin

KeepCrossWeird

Tomorrow I travel to Austin to hang around, make a nuisance of myself, and get down with the Keep Cross Weird bandit cross race thrown in conjunction with our buddy John Prolly.

On the eve of leaving, as I always do, I am bummed to leave my home, house, and dog, but super pumped to soon be in the company of some of my favorite folks in the world. It's amazing how important many of the other folks in "urban cycling" have become in my life. They are my peers, constituents, co-conspirators, and some of the best people I know in the world.

I just got word that the Denver folks (Tyler, et al) are coming out, and my main man Tracko is flying out as well for the week. AC's courier, Luke will be around to show off his hometown, and who the heck knows who else will show up.

I'll try to blog as the week progresses, but I make no promises. If you're in the Austin area, do come out and say hello.
