Intercontinental Cyclocross Championships 2018 Photos
We kicked off the cyclocross season this year in Minnesota with the 2nd Annual All-City Intercontinental Cyclocross Championships. This year the event was held a short ride from downtown Minneapolis at the new trailhead center at Theo Wirth. It's a gorgeous facility and it was a gorgeous day to be outside riding bikes with all your friends.
In addition to the regular cross races, we had the Intercontinental Single Speed Championship where the winners received $350 in cash and the championship belts, a costume race, and a demo on the singletrack trails. 243 racers showed up to test their mettle on a difficult course that featured lots of climbing and some ripping singletrack.
Riders came in from Wisconsin, Iowa, and our dealer in Raleigh, NC Oak City even sent a couple of crushers all the way up to MPLS.
Great times were had by all and we're stoked to keep building this into a National Level (you can tell I'm serious because of the capitilization) event.
