We've been riding 48 Spline Sprockets since they hit the fixed gear world, and while there are many options available, we've always felt like we could improve the breed. So we did.
Enter the Def Star.
Our big twist is the clocked splines which allow for weight savings, while still maintaining exceptional strength. A cutout on one side, means a spline on the other and vice versa. In addition, rather than the standard 6mm thickness, the Def Star is 8mm thick.
Basically it was made to handle whatever you can throw at it and still only weighs in at 147g for the 33t version.
We've been working on the design for over two years, and it's telling that all of our original proto's are still being ridden today. We believe that this is definitely the best sprocket on the market and invite you to check it out.

The Wallner is named after our good buddy and owner of Breakaway Courier, Wayne Wallner. Wayne’s the raddest dude you know (even if you don’t), and his hospitality has been instrumental in building the “sister city” relationship with Milwaukee that we here in Minneapolis have come to enjoy and rely upon. His namesake pedal is great for clips and straps or as simply a high quality platform. The teeth give a nice bite without being overly aggressive, the sealed bearings will give you years of smooth service, and it's got some cool touches such as the threaded toe clip mounts which will keep your clips from coming loose.

A super deluxe version of our double toe strap constructed of two strips our new higher quality leather with a layer of non stretching laminate in the middle, topped off with our new non slip buckles. This my friend is the Cadillac of toe straps: super stiff, super durable, super sexy.
*Be aware that these are considerably thicker than your average double toe strap, make sure the windows in your pedals will accomodate them. All of our pedal models will work, however the best way to do this is to pull the cages off before threading the strap through.

The Cecil Pro Track pedal was named for a Minnesota local legend who operated the Shakopee Velodrome in the 70’s and early 80’s. It is a traditional sealed bearing low profile track pedal and was designed to accomdate single toe straps. Because of the low profile “Keirin” shape, this is basically a single sided pedal. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a high quality sealed bearing pedal without the NJS price.

Same high quality as our Standard track hubs but in a 130mm rear spacing. Perfect for road bikes or that vintage 126mm spaced conversion frame that you're lovingly resurrecting. If you're doing a fixed conversion on a 126 spaced vintage road frame we recommend using the 130 hub instead of a 120. The logic is that it's less stress on the frame to spread it 2mm on either side rather than squeeze it 3mm on either side. If you don't buy that logic, there's also the fact that if you're running a 120mm hub on a road frame with a double crankset, you will likely have to run the chainring on the inside position to get a correct chainline. If you use the 130mm spaced hub you can run your ring on the outside, which looks cleaner.

Named for our good friend and 17 year Minneapolis Messenger veteran, Tim Gellerman (3.14 or Pi was his messenger nickname). The 314 Messenger ring is manufactured from the same high grade 7000 series alloy as the 612 Track ring but features the popular 130 BCD.
Maybe you already own a "messenger" crankset and need a ring that won't cost you an arm and a leg, or maybe you've got a road crankset that you're converting to single or fixed use. Either way the 314 is perfect for the application.

The 612 Track Crank (six-one-two) is an extremely stiff and strong 144BCD track crank. It is at home on the busy avenues of your city as it is on the boards of the velodrome. It is a hardworking crank that you can ride the heck out of without worry. Day in day out, on the job or just for fun, the 612 will get you there.
We sweat the details, so the 612 (612 is Minneapolis’ area code) is cold forged instead of melt forged, allowing for a better grain structure in the metal and producing a stronger and more durable part.
It utilizes the classic JIS square taper spindle and comes with a color matched 46 tooth 1/8th chainring. Use it on the street, use it on the boards. Whatever you throw at it, the 612 Track Crank can handle.
