The Macho Man has arrived,  it is the geared tag team partner of the Nature Boy.  Same geo, same fork, same awesomeness but with our signature vertical dropouts.  Other things of note are the front derailleur barrel adjuster and the braze on pulley mount should you want to run a standard bottom pull.  The AC hallmarks are all still there, headbadge, hidden fender mounts, reinforced bottle bosses, etc.  But the Macho Man loses the internal brake routing in favor of a triple top tube guide.

This was quite a conundrum for us as the internal routing has been an AC standard, but with a CX bike it didn't make sense to us to put the shift cables on the downtube, so we elected to put them all up top and out of the way of the muck.  This also allowed us to put a nice barrel adjuster on the front derailleur stop, and to take advantage of Shimano's new CX 70 cyclocross specific front derailleur.  Of course if you want to run a standard road front der, there is a pulley mount to allow you to do so.

As far as complete bike spec goes, we're very proud of the rock solid parts kit.  It’s got a Salsa bar/stem, FSA post, 105 shifters and rear derailleur, Shimano CX70 front derailleur, FSA Gossamer crankset, Conti tires, etc, etc.  In short, it is stacked with good stuff.  The color is a lovely citroen, and not at all banana-y as the photos might suggest.

The Macho continues and expounds upon the Nature Boy's legacy, we're proud to bring it to you, and proud to loudly send the message that we're taking over steel cyclocross.

While we over at All-City don't have the best looking models, we do happen to have the best looking kits in the game. If you want to look good this year and for year's to come, get to your shop and ask them to order up some. Our jerseys and bibs are made in the U.S.A. in partnership with local homies Twin Six.
