When I have to carry a bunch of stuff I choose the Captain Phil, but I find that for most outings, the Low-Profile is plenty big enough for my essentials.

It's slimmer, lighter, and offers better over the shoulder visibility.  It sports our standard backpack outer arrangement with a zip in the hood, magazine pocket, two flap pockets that are great for Ipods or Iphones, a central zipper pocket with a card holder, pen slots, two attachment points, and two side pockets for your bottle or u-lock.

The construction on the inside differs in that it's sewn Cordura with two side pockets and no dry bag.  The outside material is waterproof, but the seams aren't.  I've ridden with it in several downpours and there will be a little seepage at the seams on the bottom of the bag, but it's never been a big deal, and we like this more "finished" interior for a bag of this size.

All in all, we're happy to have a smaller option in the line, and think you'll be pleased with it as well.
