Bandit Cross 9 Photos

Here are a few selected images from this past weekend's Bandit Cross race down by Fort Snelling State Park.  About 20 people showed, 9 raced, and except for one pissy pants bystander who was kicking all of the cones into the woods, the whole thing went off quite well with minimal notice from the patrons of the dog park.

There was a strong showing by the Hub team, and our guy Andrew Pierre won.

I threw my beer, cones, clipboard, course tape, and all the other stuff I carry around in my Captain Phil.  No trailer needed for this one.

The ‘Bandit Cross race’ is looking so exciting! Seems the area is too critical to cross to the participants but they are looking strong enough. Good luck for them and I’m waiting for the next update of the event.

Minnesota’s Spring Classics - Free to All

While there are many reasons to fall in love with my adopted hometown of Minneapolis, around this time of year my affection turns to the Spring Classics. No, not the European Monuments, but the myriad of free long distance gravel events that pervade the early season calendar.
