So I just got back from Saddle Drive, a dealer event in Utah.
I was out there for eight days, because prior to doing the dealer portion of the event, we had sales camp where we teach the sales reps about our line and dealer programs and such.
Brother let me tell you, while the mountains are pretty, the alltitude, heat, and 3.2 beer begin to wear on you after a while. It was a marathon of good friends, climbs, descents, and binge drinking.
I had my Space Pony out there and had the opportunity to do my first big mountain road descent. It was a bit scary, but the Horse is stable and confidence inspiring. I had 35c T-Servs mounted and got them up to a speed where they started making a sound that I have never heard my tires make before, a lovely high pitched whine.
At night we hit the "hot pots" man made little soaking holes where hot spring water was fed in via an elaborate pipe system. I thought this was rad, but all the locals told us that it was gross as hell and all jizzed up. Unfazed we sessioned it at every opportunity. The other nightly highlight was getting hammered in the parking lot sitting on back of the Penske trucks, no matter where you go, there you are.
OH, and we built up Circulus and rallied the shit out of it.
