Back From Interbike

September 28th, 2009 / Jeff

Hey all,

I’m back from Vegas and currently wading through all the emails and things I missed out on while out of the office.  I’ll be working a short day today, as I’m currently fighting off a cold and am jonesing to get out in the woods on a ride.  If you sent an email or needed something while I was away expect to hear from me shortly.
In the meantime, I’ll leave you with some pics of my trip.

Our Australian Distributor gets what’s coming to him. I myself got paddled with the long paddle and she blew both of my new ass gussets (patches to fix the holes from my saddle) off my jeans

the booth.  Big thanks to all of those who stopped by to say hello

As if B.Rose’s ego needed any more stroking.  These were the best giveaways at the show!

The Japanese press that were traveling with Motocross gifted us some Shochu (sp?) which we put to good use.  That arm in the photo belongs to our homey Brian from Bicycle Rev’s in Philly

Gone to Interbike

September 18th, 2009 / Jeff

Hey,

we’re off to Interbike and will return on Sept 28th.  All AC business will be on hold until our arrival back at the offices.  If you happen to be out in Vegas come check us out at Interbike booth 1351.  We will also be out riding everynight, if you’ve brought your bike to the show and want to get down.

We’ll be here

and here

I will try to post some pics during the show on the blog, but I’m not promising anything.  But I will try.

To tide you over until we get back here are some pics of the Big Block that I’ve been saving for a rainy day, and a week with potentially no posts is about as big a drought as there is. (that sort of makes sense. right?)

Lisa’s custom Big Block: White with Black tips

The bike the Robeast Trevor Crayton rode to victory at the All City Champs this year

beefy

check out the perspective on this one, I look like a mongoloid giant (I usually just look like a regular mongoloid)

now that you’ve had enough, I’ll see you later.

stay classy,

love,

jeff

Dropout Interbike Show Bike

September 11th, 2009 / Jeff

Here are the pics of the grey Small Dropout frameset that we will be showing at Interbike later this month

black New Sherrif’s tied and soldered to Velocity Chukkers

rear with our new black AC cog

I’m really liking the grey/grey colorway.  It would look great with whatever color parts you were to hang on it.

First Dropout Build

September 10th, 2009 / Jeff

Yesterday I finished my personal Dropout build.

I’m currently only riding the front New Sheriff, because I was too lazy to swap cogs and tires this afternoon.
Now I’m partial, but damn that hub is hott (that’s hott with two t’s).

Chukker’s of course.

New BMX Star Grip Color and mold

September 9th, 2009 / Jeff

We just received the first shipment of our new grips in the hipster color of the summer Neon Green.

These are also the first out of the new mold

goodbye Big Cheese, hello All-City!

The green grips are HT4751 and will look great with your neon green Classic Plastics.

Dropout Fork

September 8th, 2009 / Jeff

I’ll be dropping this little number off at V.S. tonight for Vinnie to ride and test

He’s going to be the first person to ride any part of the Dropout frameset.  I haven’t even gotten to build mine up yet.

We’re real excited about this fork, and are happy to let you know that it should be available earlier than the frameset

All-City New Sheriff Hubs

September 4th, 2009 / Jeff

Here’s a peak at the first generation proto of our first hub designed ground up in house, the New Sheriff

We’re not releasing specs or info yet, since we still need to validate and polish the design, but you can be certain that:

A. They’re going to be awesome.  When we decide to design a product in house, we don’t mess around.  Check out the Big Block, check out the Dropout (well I guess you can’t yet).  When we do something, we do it with the intention of creating a best in class product.  Trust me, these hubs are going to be the jam.

B. They will stand up to the demands of freestyle fixed riding.

More details as things develop and we begin the testing phase of the process

Work is interfering with my blogging

September 1st, 2009 / Jeff

sorry for the lack of decent blog updates as of late, but right now we’re in the crunch of Interbike (big bike tradeshow) planning.  I’m up to my neck in it and barely treading water, so you’ll have to forgive me and get by without those AC blog updates I’m sure you’re all holding your breath over.

I will however have many many announcements and photos soon as we drop the curtain on some things that have been going on behind the scenes in the next few weeks.

Till next time I will leave you with a sneak peak of our Interbike booth which I just finished today.

the white bike is just a place holder

if you squint real hard you can make out a few new products.  Silver Cranks??, Track Cogs???

see you soon
