All-City at Midwest Single Speed Cross Championships

On Saturday, Amy and I headed out to the Velocross race up at the National Sports Center in Blaine for the Midwest Single Speed Championships. We brought our tent, super-pro btw, some dontus, demo bikes and three cases of beer and got after it.

Last Sunday we once more raced the Dog Park course, but this time added a new section above the bike path as well. 33 racers lined up and took on one of the most technically demanding cross courses around. Here's some photo evidence.

This weekend at Homey Fall Fest (a drunk mtb drinking thing here in MPLS) I came across this sweet Nature Boy that the owner had customized with some World Champ stripes. Few things get me stoked as when someone has taken one of our bikes and made it truly unique and theirs.
