There’s no snow in the Midwest so check out these snowy memories from SSCXWC ‘13

Thanks to El Nino (which is Spanish for The Nino) there's absolutely no snow around these parts, which makes for great road riding, but absolutely lousy sledding. We also don't get a chance to wave all those heroic iced over road shots at you. So instead, let's hop in the way back and remember one of the best snowy days ever. The Single Speed World Championships in Philadelphia 2013.

It started snowing just before finals and over the course of the hour long race it dumped 5 inches or so onto the racers and crowds, creating a beautiful and surreal experience that none of us in attendance will ever forget.
